435 players were registered in the main event of Card Player Poker Tour Venetian in $5,000.


This is the registration of players for just three days of the opening of the tournament registration. The registration was open for two more days as well, thus the number of participating players in the event got increased to 102 players more. And total went to 537. Now, the final field of the tournament had 537 players that created a total pool prize of $2.5 million.

In the event the final 54 players were supposed to make the money. They would have had the earning of minimum payout of $11,237. So, all the players present at the final table was to take at least $47,444 home and the winner of the event gets the pocket of $536,858
The game started amid great euphoria and on day two after playing six and a half 90-minute just 62 players remained in the tournament.
